The Quaker Film Project

The Quaker Film Project was set up to provide an exciting opportunity for young Quakers in Wales and the Welsh Borders to be involved in making a high quality short film, with the support of professionals, about issues of particular concern to them under the broad headings of Peace, Social Justice and Sustainability. The aim was to give young people a voice within the Quaker community and more widely and at the same time increase public awareness of the Quakers in Wales, their core values and how these influence the way they live their lives. The young people involved range in age from 14 - 23 yr. Most of the filming took place during a residential event at Gregynog Hall in mid Wales and involved 1:1 conversations between the young people and other participants chosen by them at the residential event.
